By booking with Making Memories by Morgan you'll automatically be added to attend all of the private wedding events on property and get this special group pricing. Making Memories by Morgan will create your individual room bookings, arrange your transportation, provide emails to prep you for travel, and personalize your online travel documents two weeks prior to travel. These travel documents include an itinerary of your entire travel experience, in addition to some resources such as a packing guide, tipping guide, etc. 

As a reminder you must book through Making Memories by Morgan to be included in the group events, otherwise it will be an additional cost for you to attend any wedding events. This rate will be dependent on the amount of events and details of each event, therefore this pricing will not be known until about 60 days prior to the wedding. 

****IMPORTANT: Any guests staying off property will be required to pay additional fees to attend the wedding events, starting at $120 per person per event. This is a requirement by the resort and the cost would be the responsibility of the guest. We highly encourage all guests to stay on property instead!

Yes, all international travelers are required to have a passport, including infants and children. To learn more about the application process, please visit the U.S. Department of State website. If you do not have a valid passport I highly recommend starting the application process ASAP!

A passport BOOK is required - Passport Cards are not valid for air travel. If you already have a passport, please check the expiration date as it must be valid 6 months post travel. This means that your passport needs to be valid through October 17, 2026 or later. 

Yes! A room deposit of $600 per room, plus the cost of optional but encouraged trip protection insurance, is due by November 7, 2024 to confirm your reservation. A mandatory secondary deposit of $700 per room is due by November 26, 2024. The final date to pay for everything in full is January 21, 2025. 

There are no set requirements for payments, as long as you are paid in full no later than January 21, 2025 at 5:00pm CST. You are welcome to make multiple payments if preferred. Anytime you'd like to make a payment you can do so HERE by using your confirmation/reservation number found on your invoice. 

Due to contract deadlines, I recommend booking your hotel room as early as possible so you have plenty of time to purchase your airfare. Airfare is not included and you are responsible for booking your airfare. I highly suggest booking direct with the airline and at minimum doing the economy equivalent class or higher. Basic economy initial looks cheaper, however you have to pay an additional cost for an assigned seat and are in the last boarding zone. It's also the least flexible ticket should you need to make any changes.

You will want to fly into Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), which is located in Los Cabos. Transportation is ONLY included for guests arriving into the Los Cabos airport the day of their reservation at the Resort AND departing from the Los Cabos airport the last day of their reservation from the Resort that have provided their flight information to travel@makingmemoriesbymorgan.com 60+ days prior to travel.  If you are arriving and staying somewhere else, you will be required for setting up your own transportation. 

For your departure down to Los Cabos, I recommend aiming for at least 1 hour on the layover. There are some flights that have 40 minute layovers, so while doable these can have a higher risk for missed connection flights. Your transportation pick up will be based specifically off your arrival time. Once you are in the transportation vehicle departing the Los Cabos airport it will take about 45 minutes to arrive to Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos. 

For your departure back home, I recommend aiming for at least 2 hours on the layover, as you will go through customs & immigration during your first stop back into the United States. I also recommend avoiding flights that depart before 11:00am, as you will be picked up from the resort about 4-4.5 hours prior your flight time. 

Don't forget once you book your airfare to provide me with your airfare and confirmation number so I can arrange your transportation! This is typically a 6 character code and sometimes referred to as PNR or record locator- EXAMPLE: American Airlines ABC123. Send this to Morgan at travel@makingmemoriesbymorgan.com no later than X so your transfers can be arranged (don't worry Morgan will send you at least three reminders!). If your airfare is not received by this date you will forfeit the costs of your transportation and be responsible for arranging your own transportation.
