As a reminder you must book through Making Memories by Morgan to be included in the group events, otherwise it will be an additional cost for you to attend any wedding events. This rate will be dependent on the amount of events and details of each event, therefore this pricing will not be known until about 60 days prior to the wedding.

By booking into the destination wedding group with Making Memories by Morgan you'll automatically be added to attend all of the private wedding events on property and get this special group pricing. Making Memories by Morgan will create your individual room bookings, arrange your transportation, provide emails to prep you for travel, and personalize your online travel documents two weeks prior to travel. These travel documents include an itinerary of your entire travel experience, in addition to some resources such as a packing guide, tipping guide, etc. 

Yes, all international travelers are required to have a passport, including infants and children. To learn more about the application process, please visit the U.S. Department of State website. If you do not have a valid passport I highly recommend starting the application process ASAP!

A passport BOOK is required - Passport Cards are not valid for air travel. If you already have a passport, please check the expiration date as it must be valid 6 months post travel. This means that your passport expiration date needs to be until April 2027 or later. 

Yes! A room deposit of $400 per room, plus the cost of optional but encouraged trip protection, is due by the RSVP date to confirm your reservation. The final date to book and pay for everything in full is May 6, 2026. 

There are no set requirements for payments, as long as final payments are made no later than May 6, 2026 at 5:00pm CST. Anytime you'd like to make a payment you can do so HERE by using your reservation/confirmation number. 

Due to contract deadlines, I recommend booking your hotel room as early as possible so you have plenty of time to purchase your airfare. Airfare is not included and you are responsible for booking your airfare. I highly suggest booking direct with the airline and at minimum doing the economy equivalent class. Basic economy initially looks cheaper, however you have to pay an additional cost for an assigned seat and are in the last boarding zone. It's also the least flexible ticket should you need to make any changes.

You will want to fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN). Transportation is ONLY included for guests arriving into Cancun airport the day of their reservation at the resort. If you are arriving and staying somewhere else, you will be required for setting up your own transportation. 

For your departure down to Cancun, I recommend a non-stop flight or aiming for at least 1 hour if you have a layover. There are some flights that have 40 minute layovers, so while doable these can have a higher risk for missed connection flights. If there's a non-stop flight available this is definitely my top recommendation!!

For your departure back home, I recommend a non-stop flight or aiming for at least 2 hours on the layover, as you will go through customs & immigration during your first stop back into the United States. If there's a non-stop flight available this is definitely my top recommendation!! I also recommend avoiding flights that depart before 11:00am, as you will be picked up from the resort about 4- 4.5 hours prior your flight time.  

Don't forget once you book your airfare to provide me with your airfare and confirmation number so I can arrange your transportation! This is typically a 6 character code and sometimes referred to as PNR or record locator (example American Airlines ABC123).

Please provide to Morgan at travel@makingmemoriesbymorgan.com no later than 60 days in advance so your transfers can be arranged (don't worry Morgan will send you at least two reminders!). If your airfare is not received by this date you will forfeit the costs of your transportation and be responsible for arranging your own transportation.
